Poker Ramblings
I've been playing hold'em for a while now and I love the game. More and more of my friends are playing and it's interesting to see the many different people that play hold'em. Before I started playing I believed the stereotype of who was a poker player. Now you can hear people from all different walks of life in all different age groups talk about playing hold'em.
The best part of online poker is that you get to play with people that you would never have had a chance to play with. Maybe Poker-king1374 is a grandma, or a CEO of a large corporation or even your buddy across town. You just don't know and that is what makes online poker so great.
I didn't expect to end up talking about how great online poker was. I was actually going to talk about Omaha High/Low. I've been thinking about trying out this variation for a little while now. I'm actually watching a game being played as I type this. I'm a little disappointed in the game though. All the hands are being won with High hands, I haven't seen a single low hand yet. Maybe low hands are hard to get? I guess I will have to give the game a try to find out.
I will let you know how my experience with Omaha High/Low turns out.
That's all, I fold.
