Online Poker Championship

With the popularity of online and live poker today it was surprising to see or actually not see the coverage of the World championship of online poker.
Other than coverage by poker websites I have not see a single article regarding the online championship. I am surprised and not surprised at the same time.
I am surprised that this championship was not covered due to the number of entries (1 494) the prize pool available ($3 735 000) and some of the names that were playing (Moneymaker, Raymer and Boeken among others). These factors combined make this tournament possibly the largest tournament online to date.
The reason that I am not surprised is that the tournament was online. Live poker has a marketable value, you can see the players, their reactions and their style of play, online you can see the cards and maybe some typed chatter.
As popular as online poker is I don't think that it will be replacing live poker anytime soon. Even if they bring in live web cam feeds of the players with audio feeds it just not the same.
