Has the sun stopped shinning on online poker?

This week a major public online poker company announced that they are expecting their growth in the online poker market to slow in future quarters. With this announcement the companies shares dropped in value for a total of 4 billion in market value. Could this signal a down turn in pokers popularity?
Well the shares holders seem to think so, but thankfully the analyst's seem to disagree. They feel that the slow down is due to nothing more than a growing number of competitors in the market.
I am relieved to hear that the experts attribute this slow down to normal market pressures and not the lack of interest in poker. Having just found poker and enjoying myself and improving my game with every hand, I would be upset to see this game to disappear as quickly as it appears.

I think it will be an interesting few years to see how the various companies deal with the increased competition. The new competition should be good for us players as well as we will be more important to the online casino's and poker rooms than ever before.

That's all, I fold.
