First Profitable Game
Well I did it, I had my first game where I came out on top. There were some tense moments as I went for many hands without winning a single hand. My stack of chips was slowly disappearing. Not only was it disappearing slowly but I had a short stack to begin with. I was down about 20 dollars which for the 1/2 Limit game I was playing was a fair bit. Then my hand came in I was dealt a Js Kd and the flop showed a Jc 2d and 7s so I figured I was good for the turn which happened to be the Kh. I bet to the river and won the hand with the two pair.
I went on another losing streak giving back all my winnings and I won two hand in a row. A pair of 10s and 4s was enough to put me ahead again and then a pair of 8s and 7s secured my up status for the game. I had a few more losing hands and ended the session about $130 up.
Now I only played about 70 hands and then I left the game. Why did I leave the game?
Well some new players popped in and were betting like maniacs. I am just not comfortable enough to be betting upwards of $10 before the flop.
So after 70 hands I left the table with a smile on my face and my virtual wallet a little fatter than when I sat down.
That's all, I fold.
